High-power generator sets, 3.0 to 1,000 kW
Diesel and gas generating sets from 3.0 to 1,000 kW, built in our own factory. Rated voltages from 110 to 240 V single phase or 220 / 380 V three phase, with 12 V DC output for battery charging on the single-cylinder models.
01What the range covers
The sets listed in the catalogue are the small end of the range: single-cylinder diesel sets from 4.6 / 5.0 kW to 9.0 / 9.5 kW, rated as 50 Hz / 60 Hz. They are built as stock models because they sell in volume and the configuration rarely changes.
Above them the sets are built to order. The frame, the enclosure, the alternator, the control panel and the fuel arrangement are specified against the load the set has to carry, which is why these are quoted rather than listed with a price. The largest set we build is 1,000 kW.

02Built in our own factory
The sets are not assembled from bought-in packages. Frames are punched, formed and welded here, and the enclosures are painted in our own painting room, so a non-standard size or an unusual mounting is a change to our own work rather than a request to somebody else.

A generating set is sized against a load, so these are the details that let us come back with one model and a price instead of a list of questions.
- The load in kW, and whether it is continuous, standby or peak
- Voltage, phase and frequency — 50 Hz or 60 Hz
- Fuel: diesel, or gas with the fuel supply available
- Open set or enclosed, and portable or fixed installation
- Quantity, and the port or destination
- Anything fixed: dimensions, mounting, control panel, colour and decals

What is the largest generating set you build?
1,000 kW. The sets listed in the catalogue are the small single-cylinder diesel range, 4.6 / 5.0 kW to 9.0 / 9.5 kW as 50 Hz / 60 Hz. Everything above that is configured to order against the load.
Do you build gas sets as well as diesel?
Both. The range from 3.0 to 1,000 kW covers diesel and gas, and the fuel arrangement is part of what is specified when the set is configured.
Single phase or three phase?
Rated voltages run from 110 to 240 V single phase or 220 / 380 V three phase. The single-cylinder models also provide 12 V DC output for battery charging.
What do you need in order to quote a set?
The load in kW and whether it is continuous or standby, the voltage, phase and frequency, the fuel, whether the set is open or enclosed, the quantity, and the destination. With those we can come back with a model and a price.
Are the sets supplied open or enclosed?
Either. Enclosed sets with a wheel kit are built for portable and noise-sensitive sites, and open sets where the set sits in its own plant room. The enclosed arrangement is the quiet one, at 72 dB(A) at 7 m.
