Bidirectional plate compactors and concrete equipment for groundworks, paving preparation and concrete placement.
Compaction is the step that decides whether everything built on top of it stays flat. On trench backfill, sub-base and paving preparation the work is done in layers, and the machine has to be small enough to get into the trench and heavy enough to do the job in a sensible number of passes.
Our compactor range is built for exactly that scale of work, and shares its engines with the rest of the range so a contractor is not stocking a second set of spares.

02Bidirectional compaction
Both compactor models travel forward and in reverse without the operator turning the machine, which is what allows confined trench work. Travel speed is 20–25 m/min on both, and both are rated for a 20% grade.
They are separated by plate size and impact force: the smaller model carries a 690 × 480 mm plate at 35 kN, and the larger a 900 × 680 mm plate at 50 kN. The larger plate covers more ground per pass, which is the difference between a comfortable schedule and a tight one on a long run.
03Engine and starting
The compactors are matched to the engine range rather than to a single engine: the smaller model accepts GX390, 178F and 186F class engines, and the larger accepts GX420, 186F and 192F class engines. Recoil starting is standard on both.
Net weight runs from 160 kg to 305 kg, which is the figure to check first when the machine has to be lifted on and off a vehicle by hand or with a small hoist.
04Loading a container
A 20 ft container takes 60 of the smaller compactors or 55 of the larger, so a mixed container order can be planned model by model. Packing dimensions are quoted for both.
Concrete vibrators, concrete cutters and power trowels complete the concrete side of the range and are available alongside the compactors.
