Irrigation and drainage
Engine-driven pump sets that move water where there is no mains supply — from a 2 inch portable unit to a 6 inch set delivering 160 m³/h.
Most of the fields, orchards and plots our pumps go to have no reliable grid connection at the water source. The set therefore has to be self-contained: its own engine, its own fuel, and enough suction lift to be placed beside a channel, a tank or a river bank rather than bolted into a fixed installation.
The same engine platform that powers our generators and tillers also drives the pump range, so spares and service stay familiar across a customer’s whole fleet.
01Where the sets are used
Field irrigation drawn from a channel, reservoir or borehole; water transfer between tanks and storage; and drainage or flood relief after heavy rain, where the set has to be moved quickly and started without tools.

02Choosing by head and volume, not by engine size
A pump set is selected on two figures: the total head the water has to be lifted and pushed through, and the delivery volume required per hour. They pull against each other — a set delivers its largest volume at a low head, and lifting higher reduces the flow. The catalogue therefore lists both for every model rather than a single headline figure.
Suction head is a constant 8 m across the range, so a set can sit at the water’s edge and stay there. Port sizes run from 50 mm (2 inch) to 150 mm (6 inch), and every model carries a ceramic carbon mechanical seal as standard.
03Matching the engine to the duty
The four pump models are built on the GX engine family, from the GX160 on the 2 inch set to the GX440 on the 6 inch set. Recoil starting is standard and electric start is available, which matters on a set that is started several times a day.
Fuel tank capacity rises with the model — 3.8 litres on the two smaller sets and 6.5 litres on the two larger ones — which sets the working interval between refuels.
04Export, packing and spares
Packing sizes and container quantities are quoted for every model so that a mixed order can be planned against a single 20 ft load. The 2 inch and 3 inch sets load 330 units each per 20 ft container; the 6 inch set loads 120.
Spare parts and service kits are available across the engine and pump families, and the same seal and impeller service applies to every model in the range.
