Farm mechanisation
Walk-behind power tillers from 7 HP to 13 HP for soil preparation on smallholdings, in orchards and on terraced or enclosed ground.
On ground a tractor cannot reach — between orchard rows, on terraces, inside a smallholding, or on plots too small to justify a tractor — the work still has to be done to the same standard. A walk-behind tiller is the machine that fits, and it is operated by one person without a second machine to pull it.
The range is built on the same FSH engine platform as the rest of our products, in three power steps, with the gearbox and blade set chosen to match the ground.
01Where the tillers are used
Primary soil preparation before planting, repeat cultivation between crops, and orchard or plantation work where the row spacing rules out a mounted implement.

02Choosing tilling width and power
The range moves in three steps of power and width: 7 HP at 100 cm, 9 HP at 105 cm and 13 HP at 135 cm. Tilling depth is 10 cm on every model, and the rated efficiency is the same across the range, so the choice is about how much ground is covered per pass rather than how deep the machine will work.
Moving up a step widens the machine as well as the cut. That is worth checking against row spacing and gateways before ordering the largest model.
03Gearbox, drive and clutch
The base model uses a full cast-iron transmission box with chain and belt drive. The three larger models use a gear drive with an aluminium alloy and die-cast iron box. Shifting is the same on all four — 1, 0, 2, -1 — so forward, neutral, a second forward speed and reverse.
Clutch type is a choice rather than a fixed specification: a tensioning clutch on the cast-iron model, and a forward clutch on the other three. Direction adjustment also differs, with up/down on the two smaller models and up/down/left/right on the two larger ones.
04Blades, wheels and export packing
Blade sets are 24, 24, 32 and 40 dryland blades respectively, on 4.00-8, 4.00-10 and 5.00-12 wheels. Net weight runs from 75 kg to 105 kg, which is the practical limit for one operator to manage on soft ground.
A 40 ft high-cube container takes 280 of the two smaller models or 144 of the two larger ones. Tillage attachments are available, and the range is completed by irrigation pump units for field use.
